I tried a few new things with this strip as I am getting more comfortable with the digital stylus. My natural inclination is to make very heavy, organic lines, but I am trying to move towards a streamlined, minimal line and let the colors add dimension rather than heavily shaded lines. To this end I used a much thinner brush on these images. Also I have decided to use custom, hand drawn balloons in favor of the template that I had been using. I hope it will impart a warmer, handmade feeling to the strip as it evolves.
